A short drive from where I grew up was Folsom, CA (the home of the Folsom Prison Blues) and in that area of the foothills was this little mile-long hike taking us to the ‘watering hole’. Almost everyone I knew I CA knew of this place, it was just a little swimming place to get cool, but it was a favorite.
